• Medication Data: Names, dosages, schedules, and images of your medications.
• Health Records: Medication adherence records and notes you enter.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.
• Usage Data: App interactions and feature usage for improving our services.
• Advertising ID: Mobile advertising identifiers for personalized ads (free users only).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Services: Send medication reminders, track adherence, and sync data across devices.
• Caregiver Features: Share your medication and adherence data with caregivers you authorize.
• Improvements: Analyze usage patterns to improve App functionality.
• Advertising: Display personalized ads to free users (Premium users see no ads).
• Communications: Send important notifications about your account or the App.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Caregivers: When you explicitly invite and authorize a caregiver, they can view your medications and adherence records.
• Service Providers:
  • Firebase (Google) - Authentication, database, and analytics
  • Google AdMob - Advertising (free users only)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud Firestore with encryption.
• Local data is stored on your device using encrypted storage.
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: View all your data within the App.
• Correction: Edit your medication and profile information anytime.
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data through Settings > Delete Account.
• Caregiver Access: Revoke caregiver access at any time through Settings.
• Ad Personalization: Upgrade to Premium to remove all ads, or adjust your device's ad tracking settings.

6. Children's Privacy

MyPill is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
